What to do for my sister for her first mothers day?
July 19th, 2009My sister has a 2 month old baby boy. Her husband is out of the country for a bit and I want to do something special for her first Mothers Day. We are already going out for dinner.. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch
A gift certificate for some type of salon or day spa where she can choose a treatment– a hair cut, mani/pedi or massage. I would also offer to watch your nephew when she makes the appointment. An afternoon of uninterrupted relaxation= heaven! Or, if she’s not into spa stuff, try a movie theater gift card (same idea) or buy her some flowers and make the offer to watch your nephew for an afternoon so she can fill it however she chooses!
What a thoughtful sister you are!!!

Get her a gift certificate for a massage or some kind of pampering and tell her you’ll watch the little one while she gets a much deserved break. That’s what I want for my first mother’s day.

A photo shoot of her and the baby, at one of those studios that specializes in infant/family portraits. This is what I’m hoping to do with my toddler and newborn.
