What to do as a mothers day gift for Sunday School class?
April 9th, 2009We are trying to think of a fun craft to do as Mothers Day gifts for our 2-3 yr old sunday school class. Any ideas??? needs to be fairly cheap if possible!! Was thinking about a hand print w/ the poem "sometimes you get discouraged b/c I am so small and leave my fingerprints on furniture and walls' but need other ideas too. Thank you!
I have one of those from my daughter. I treasure it.
It was done on Construction paper with white paint,
if that helps you.

Flowers. Really easy to make.. You print a drawing with a couple of flowers. Then you get different color of construction paper, cut it in small pieces and jus tell the kids to wrinkle them into a little ball. They can then glue the little balls to the flowers you printed. It's pretty cheap and all mothers love a bouquet of flowers!
Good Luck

A card with a picture of teapot/cup on the front, I would print these out for the children to colour/decorate & then stick to the front of the card. Inside attach a teabag (probably the type on a string) and add a verse along the lines of "Today is mother's day, so have a rest and put your feet up, have a cup of tea!).
I once received a similar card from my child & I thought it was a lovely idea.

You can get milk cartons, have them paint and decorate them and have them plant flower. and have them make a card. Or you can even by the little pots and have them paint those

My favorite gifts that I have received for mothers day are pictures of my kids! A picture of your child is priceless. Maybe you could get their pictures and have them decorate a card or something.

This is the one i did last year and it can be fairly cheap. But you get whisk you know like egg beater or the i use mine doing cakes. You fill them will the hersheys hugs & kisses. Wrap them in seran wrap or tissue paper. Then on a little card we wrote Wisking you a Happy Mothers Day filled with Hugs & Kisses. The Hugs are the white & milke choloate herseys. And the kisses are just reg kisses. I hope this helps someone. Thanks Dawn
