Would flowers be a good Mothers day present?
July 13th, 2009If not, I need quick suggestions!
oh yes!
Try to go to a grocery store. A flower store will be very expensive and may be out of flowers.

its a classic!
if you are in doubt, try writing her a poem! or get her a gift card. i got my mom an ipod nano, but it might be a bit extreme for your situation. a camera would be nice. or, figure out her schedule and pay for a surprise appointment to get a mani pedi!

Instead of dead flowers, why not give your mom a houseplant or a plant for outside? She gave you life now you give her some.

It’s the thought that counts…my kids, in the past few years, have:
picked flowers for me
made a big banner for me
made me breakfast
made me cards
made cut-out flowers for me
(different years, of course)
It was all great, because they showed they love me! It didn’t matter what it was…even if it was just a big hug!
