Are tulips a good flower for mothers day?
November 6th, 2009im 15 and my mom is out of town for my step-sister’s college graduation. im thinking of sending her tulips. is that appropriate? i would like to give her daisies, but i think my step-sister might do that…
and since she’s across the country, i would like the card to say something clever… help?

Tulips are THE best, my favourite bouquet… (not that I am your mother)…
As for clever sayings, all that comes to mind are bad puns about Two Lips, and maybe the song Tiptoe Through The Tulips (a silly love song from decades ago!)

Tulips are one of my favorites and spring time is when they are the most beautiful. I would send a card telling her "Since my two lips can’t be there to give you a kiss for Mother’s Day, maybe these tulips will brighten your day!" What a thoughtful daughter! :o)
