I want to give my mom a really special thoughtful gift for Mothers Day something that will thank her for everything she does for me something really simple that i can make because she’s a big crafty person and she’ll appriate a home made gift and a cute card but i don’t know what to make and i don’t know what to write in the card that would really get to her and make her understand how much i love her can someone give me some ideas?

I think you know your mom better than anyone,look in your heart and write her a poem from your heart,and then put a picture of you with it,or a picture of you and your mom.She will love it.try to laminate it so it last for ever.

I am his wife and he did give me a small box of chocolates and bought ribs for dinner, but I thought that was ridiculous that his mother got flowers and not me. Isn’t it supposed to be a romantic holiday.

Does he know you like flowers?
I’d try to give him the hint that you like flowers and enjoy getting them, but don’t be upset with him. He did buy you other things- sometimes guys just don’t get it :-p
And also, what kind of flowers did he get his mom? It’s understandable to get flowers for parents- my boyfriend gave his mother carnations for valentines day.
Give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t mean anything by it, just that he wanted to show you both that he cared for you

I want to get my mom a present for Mothers Day. My mom doesn’t like strong scents or spa-stuff. So I need something under $15 for her.

How about a homemade card or a picture frame with the two of you?

I need some ideas for gifts i can make my mum for Mothers Day i have already made her a card, pom-pom and bookmark. Any other great and easy ideas. Please help quick

You can write a poem…or find a perfect quote that fits her. Dedicate it to her. You can print it and put it in a picture frame. You could print it and glue it to a piece of wood. Make your own plaque. What about decorating a picture frame. You can make one out of popsicle sticks…or you can take a premade one…find one really inexpensive (dollar store or walmart) and paint it yourself…or you can decorate it with sea shells or buttons, or something else your mom might like. You can make her a special treat…cake, cookies, cupcakes, etc. You could make her a bracelet out of beats.

My loved one’s mother passed away 2 nights ago. Is it a good idea to give her something for Mother’s Day or should I pass this time. I’m afraid if I give her something like even a Mother’s Day card or flowers, it will remind her of her mother. By the way, Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers that are reading this. How sad. I remember when my friend lost her mother she said she felt like an orphan….all alone suddenly in the world. Think about it when your sick or confused or wanting to share news you run to mom. I think it will comfort your friend to know you are thinking of him/her and the mother. It is always comforting to know someone cares that you are hurting. Your a good friend to think of her/him at this painful time and I think you should follow your heart and listen to that little voice inside you without second guessing yourself.

I love it mom and mother in law. I want to do/get something really special for mothers day but I can’t think of anything!!! The only thing I can think of is taking them out to eat. That’s not very personal though. I don’t have a whole bunch of money either. (For all the moms out there) What are some things that you would want for Mothers Day? They both deserve something great. We should probably ask her. I know a pan or something like that doesn’t sound exciting but if I ask for those kinds of things, I love it! I think I want Breakfast in bed this year, that might be an idea too.

We live local to our mothers but would like to have flowers delivered, rather than having to go pick them up then take them to them the next day. We’ll still visit on Mother’s Day of course so would it be weird to have flowers sent a day early?

I don’t think you can go wrong with flowers and to have them delivered is great,expect lots of hugs.
