do you or most people you know celebrate Mothers Day??? it’s a big deal in my family, i just wanted to know if other people celebrated it as much as i do. (mothers day is tommorw) also if you any cool mothers day traditions, gift ideas or stories i’d love to hear about them.

I am thirteen years old and am looking for some good Mothers’ Day gifts that are simple and easy. I don’t have any money to spend, so I will need to use items that most homes contain. My mom likes to cook, garden, and cross stitch. I recently cross stitched the phrase "I Love You." I am looking for things to dress it up a bit, like maybe cross stitch it onto a pillow of some sort.

if she has a garden chances are she has flowers. go to her garden ( if she has flowers ) and take some and have them for her for mother’s day mom’s love flower’s. now if you can cook make something for her to eat on the special day shows you took the time to actually do it yourself and that you really do care. also you can help mom out by doing housework without her asking you ( i.e. do the laundry,dishes,sweep,mop,vaccum.) or make her a homemade card it also shows you took the time to be creative and you cared enough to take the time to go find the materials to make it for her.

Because today is Mothers Day, I wanted to cook all 3 meals today for my mom. But I was wondering WHAT should I cook for my mom? My mom does not let me use the stove but my brother can cook simple meals on the stove like canned soup or Macaroni & Cheese. So, what should I cook for breakfast, lunch, & dinner AND an appetizer, snack, side dish, & drinks. Thanks!

hmm well for Mothers Day i made my mom a fried egg and hand sqeezed orange juice. but since u cant use the stove maje a tray of her favorite cereal, some flowers from ur backyard or soemthing, some juice or her favorite drink and a special hand made card! she’ll love it

Mothers toil away for years mostly in the background to the rest of their family. When choosing a Mothers Day gift, I feel you should look for something that places her first, something to make her feel pampered and special. Show her and tell her what she means to you. Maybe thinking of some of sacrifices shes made over the years may also be a good way to think of an appropiate gift.

Why not give her a one off treat? Some ideas are -
- Breakfast in bed
- Day at a spa
- Clean the car
- A beauty treatment; manicure, haircut etc
- Make her a scrapbook of nice memories you’ve had together
- Take her out somewhere nice for lunch/dinner
- Buy her an ‘experience package’ (Boots/Argos etc); day at a wine vineyard, professional photograph taken etc
- Make her something; picture frame, jewellery, paint a picture
- Make her a CD of her favourite songs

i want to let all mothers who dont get all the credit from their husband and kids HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! you do deserve every credit in the whole world simply just being a mother a good mother. i for once have loved and did the maximum for my whole family and have never recieved a happy Mothers Day!at least in words why? do not know but i still go far out for my whole family im there. i have recieved more compliments from outsiders than my own family which makes me feel so wonderful inside but i still would die just to hear it from my own family i guess that is why i whish every mother out there happy mothers day you desrve it!

Alright. I wanna do something for my mom for Mothers Day and i dont have ANYTHING to do. My mom invited my Grandma over for Dinner tomorow and so since they will both be here i was thinking i could sing them a song, since they like when i sing.

You could just get a picture frame and put a picture of you two in it and give her a card that says remember this? i do .. i love you blah blah what ever you need to say..

You could get her flowers, candy or tickets to a movie in a few days (Buy advance matinee tickets or something). You could bake a cake or cupcakes or something and on a piece of paper write 24 or 12 reasons you love her, meaning 24 or 12 cupcakes one for each reason..

Something more heart felt you could make her cleaning coupons or dinner coupons where you will cook dinner/clean one day or do something extra nice with her..
